California Lightning Sprints

The California Lightning Sprints (CLS) are a Southern California based 1200cc Mini-Sprint club. The group competes in both winged and non-winged events at the Perris, Bakersfield, Ventura, Santa Maria, Barona, and Victorville clay ovals. Reaching speeds in excess of 100 mph, the cars of the CLS may be small in size, but they are big on excitement!!!

MICHNOWICZ WINS LAST LIGHTNING MAIN OF THE YEAR - BROWN WINS THE CHAMPIONSHIP!
(Placentia, CA, November 9, 2011) Teenage sensation Kevin Michnowicz ended the season the same way as he started it when he won the California Lightning Sprint Car main event at the 16th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals last Saturday night at Perris Auto Speedway. CALIFORNIA LIGHTNING SPRINT CARS CLOSE SEASON THIS WEEK AT BUDWEISER OVAL NATIONALS!
(Placentia, CA, November 2, 2011) The California Lightning Sprint Car Series will bring down the curtain on a highly successful 2011 season this Friday and Saturday night at the 16th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals at Perris Auto Speedway.
